The Administrators App allows you to take photos and videos directly within the app and store them securely in the school’s cloud.
This means:
- Media is not saved on your personal device
- Content is securely stored in the school cloud
- All staff can access the shared internal media library
- You can upload while at events and post later
- Or post immediately via News or Notifications
This ensures student data is protected and not stored across multiple staff devices.
Important Before You Begin
If the Video tab is blurred or unavailable, you must complete the Vimeo integration here first.
Step-by-Step: Uploading Videos via the Administrators App
1. Open the App
- Open the Administrators App
- Log in
2. Open Cloud Cam
- On Apple devices:
- Tap Cloud Cam from the bottom menu
- On Android devices:
- Open the sidebar menu (☰ top left)
- Tap Cloud Cam
3. Select Videos
At the top of the screen, tap Videos.
You will now see:
- Existing videos
- Existing folders
Note: These videos are internal only until shared via:
- News
- Notifications
- Social Media
This is your internal school media library.

4. Create Folders (Recommended)
Tap the three dots (top right) to create a new folder.
- Best practice:
- Create a folder with your name
- Or organise by:
- Academic Year
- Year Group
- Sports
- Trips
- Events
This keeps your media organised and easy to find later.
5. Record a New Video
To record:
- Tap the Video icon (bottom left)
- Tap the circle button to start recording
- Tap again to stop
You can record multiple videos in one session.
Tip: If you open a specific folder first, any video recorded will automatically be saved into that folder.
6. Review Your Videos
- When finished recording:
- Tap the check icon (bottom right)
- You can:
- Tap a video to preview it
- Long press a video to select it
- If needed:
- Tap the bin icon to delete unwanted videos
7. Upload to the School Cloud
When ready:
- Long press to select the video(s)
- Tap the cloud icon to upload
Videos may take a few minutes to upload depending on size and connection.
Once uploaded, they are securely stored in the school’s internal cloud library.

Uploading a Video from Your Device
In some cases, staff may need to upload an image from their device.
Examples:
- Edited Videos for events (e.g. Concert Advert)
- Previously taken on another device or already stored in phone gallery
Important Guidelines
- Any Videos of students or staff should always be captured directly using Cloud Cam/Video
- Uploading from your device should only be done when necessary
- If using videos found online, ensure they are royalty free
- The school is liable for copyright infringement
Step-by-step Guide:
- Open Cloud Cam in the Administrators App
- Tap on the Video option
- Tap the Video icon (bottom right)
- Tap the Gallery icon
- Select the video(s) from your device
- Tap Done
The video will now be available in the Cloud Cam Video library.
Sharing Your Video
After uploading, you can share the video via:
- News
- Notifications
- Social Media
