4. Manage Drafts, Edit and Archive Web Update Tickets

Continue a draft, correct ticket details and keep the ticket list organised.

Use drafts for unfinished requests, edit a ticket to correct its details, and archive tickets to keep your working list tidy.

Continue a saved draft

  1. When preparing a new ticket, choose Save as Draft if it is not ready to send.
  2. On the Web Updates dashboard, select View Draft to find saved drafts.
  3. Open the draft, finish the required details and check its requests and attachments.
  4. Select Submit Ticket when it is ready for the website team.

A draft is not a submitted request. Select View All Submitted to return to the submitted-ticket list.

Edit a submitted ticket

  1. Open the ticket and select Edit Ticket, or use its edit icon on the dashboard.
  2. Update the details that are available to edit.
  3. Select Save Changes.

Once work has started, request details can be locked for editing. If you cannot change a request, send the correction in the ticket’s Chat so the website team has the revised instructions. Do not create a duplicate ticket for the same change.

The Edit Ticket screen includes a Save Changes button.

Archive or restore a ticket

  1. On the dashboard, select the checkbox beside the ticket you want to put away.
  2. Select Archive.
  3. To find it again, open Archived in the Web Updates side menu.
  4. To return it to the working list, select its checkbox and choose Unarchive.

Archiving is for organising the list; do not use it to tell the website team that an update is no longer needed. Send that instruction in the ticket’s Chat.

Use the row checkboxes to select tickets before choosing Archive.
