Use a fixture to schedule a match or competition for a team. Set up the sport and team before you begin.
In this guide
1. Open Fixtures
- Open Team Manager → Fixtures.
- Check Show my fixtures. Clear it if you need to see other fixtures available to your role.
- Click Add Fixture.
2. Complete Fixture Details
Enter or select:
- Date and Time
- School Team and Opponent Team
- Venue Type and the relevant venue or location details
- Fixture Type, such as Friendly, League or Cup Match
3. Select players — optional
In Team Selection, choose the starters and substitutes for this fixture. You can make fixture-specific changes to the usual lineup.
Visibility is controlled in Settings. If Show Team Sheet in App is off, the team sheet is not shown to parents, even if you use it for internal planning.
4. Add supporters — optional
Use Supporters for students attending but not playing—for example, students supporting a team at a final.
Including them lets staff track their attendance and include them in the relevant School Activity process. Attendance-system updates depend on the school's integration.
5. Review and create
- Open Review.
- Check the date, time, teams, venue, fixture type and any selected players or supporters.
- Click Create Fixture.
After creation, use the fixture's actions to edit details, update the lineup or supporters, or cancel or reschedule when necessary. Communicate relevant changes to affected staff, parents and students.
