Searching for a Personal Notification

Quickly Find Any Message Sent via Personal Notifications

This guide explains how to search, filter, and export Personal Notifications from your Dashboard.

You can search from:

  • The main Personal Notifications screen
  • A specific Student Profile

Method 1: Search from Manage Personal Notifications

This is the best option if you are unsure of the student name or need to filter by date, status, or creator.

Step 1: Go to Manage Personal Notifications

  • Log in to uniqueschoolapp.ie
  • Go to Personal Notifications under Communications
  • Select Manage Personal Notifications

Step 2: Use the Search Bar

You can search by:

  • Title
  • Student Name
  • Created By

Step 3: Use Filters (Optional)

Filters help narrow your results.

  • Date
    • Default: Today
    • Adjust to search previous dates
  • Created By
    • Change to view PNs created by you or other staff
  • Visibility
    • View your Private PNs
    • View all Public PNs
  • Type
    • Default: Staff-created PNs & Replies to Notes from Parents
    • You can also view System Generated PNs (e.g., Late Sign In notifications)
  • Status
    • Published – Live in the app
    • Scheduled – Set to publish at a future date
    • Archived – Still visible in the Archived section of the app
    • Pending – Awaiting approval from a full access user
    • Draft – Started but not sent (auto-saved)

Step 4: Export (Optional)

  • Click the Export button (top right)
  • Download results for reporting or record keeping

Method 2: Search via Student Profile

If you already know the student’s name, this is often quicker.

Step 1

  • Go to Dashboard
  • Search for the student using the top-right search bar

Step 2

  • Open the student profile
  • Go to Personal Notifications

Here you will see:

  • All communications sent to that student/family
  • Delivery status
  • Read status
  • Full message history

This is especially useful when:

  • A parent says they didn’t receive a message
  • You need to confirm if something was read
  • You want a full communication history in one place
