Cloud Cam allows staff to take photos of students and school-related activities without storing images on personal devices.
- All images are:
- Stored securely in the school’s cloud
- Accessible internally by staff only
- Not visible to parents until shared via:
- News
- Notifications
- Galleries
This protects student data and ensures media is not spread across multiple personal devices.
Capturing Images Using Cloud Cam
1. Open Cloud Cam
Open the Administrators App and log in.
- On Android devices:
- Open the left-side menu (☰)
- Tap Cloud Cam
- On Apple devices:
- Tap Cloud Cam from the bottom menu
You will now see all previously uploaded Cloud Cam images.

2. Capture a New Image
- Tap the Camera icon (bottom right)
- Take your photo(s)
3. Finish Capturing
When finished:
- Tap the check icon

4. Sync or Delete
You will now be asked to:
- SYNC – Upload images to the school cloud
- DELETE – Remove unwanted images
Important
You must tap SYNC for any image you want to keep or use later.

Once uploaded, images can be used in:
- News
- Notifications
- Personal Notifications
- Galleries
- Other communications
Uploading an Image from Your Device
In some cases, staff may need to upload an image from their device.
Examples:
- Edited images for events (e.g. Bake Sale Poster)
- Previously taken on another device or already stored in phone gallery
Important Guidelines
- Any images of students or staff should always be captured directly using Cloud Cam
- Uploading from your device should only be done when necessary
- If using images found online, ensure they are royalty free
- The school is liable for copyright infringement
Step-by-step Guide:
- Open Cloud Cam in the Administrators App
- Tap the Camera icon (bottom right)
- Tap the Gallery icon
- Select the images(s) from your device
- Tap Done
The image will now be available in the Cloud Cam Video library.

Organising the Cloud Cam
Cloud Cam is available to all staff internally.
This means:
- All uploaded images are visible to staff
- Images are not visible to parents unless published via News or other methods
- Organisation is essential to avoid clutter
Best Practice: Use Folders
We strongly recommend organising images using folders.
You can organise by:
- Put you name on your folder
- Year group
- Event
- Department
Good folder organisation makes it much easier to:
- Find images later
- Keep content separated
- Maintain a clean system
How to Create a New Folder
- Open Cloud Cam
- Tap the three dots (top right)
- Select Create New Folder
- Enter the folder name
- Tap Create

After uploading, you can share the image(s) via:
- News
- Notifications
- Social Media
