Training sessions allow you to organise regular practices, manage attendance, and keep parents and students informed — all in one place. You can create one-off sessions or set up recurring weekly trainings in just a few clicks.
This guide walks you through how to create your first training session.
Step-by-Step: Creating a Training Session
1. Log In
Go to uniqueschoolapp.ie and log in if you’re not already signed in.
If you are already logged in, skip to Step 2.2.
2. Open Team Manager
From the main dashboard:
2.1. Click Team Manager
2.2. Click Trainings from the left-hand side menu
🔎 Tip: By default, this will only show your teams. Uncheck Show My Teams to view all teams.

3. Select Your Team
Find the team you want to create a training session for.
You can:
- Use the search bar, or
- Apply filters to narrow down results
- Once you find the correct team:
- Click the + icon to add a new training session, or
- Click the View icon to see existing sessions
4. Enter Training Details
Fill in the required information for the session.
You can choose between:
One-Off Training
- A single training session on a specific date.
Recurring Training (Recommended for Weekly Sessions)
- Check the Recurring box at the top.
This allows you to:
- Select specific day(s) of the week
- Set a date range
- Automatically create weekly sessions on those days
- This saves time and keeps your schedule consistent.
Required Details
- Title
- Date (or date range if recurring)
- Start and end time
- Location type (e.g. Home, Away)
- Venue
- Equipment (optional)

5. Create Training
- Once all details are filled in, click Create Training.
- Your session(s) will now be added to the team calendar.
- Click Calendar on the left side menu to view.
After Your Training Is Created
Once your training session is live, you can:
- Edit session details
- Delete sessions
- Mark attendance
- Send notifications to parents and students
- Cancel or reschedule sessions
All changes can be made at any time.
