Staff First-Time Setup

How School Staff Access the Unique Schools System

Before you can access the Unique Schools system, you must be added to the school’s database and complete the registration process through the Main School App.

This guide explains:

  • How administrators add staff to the system
  • How staff download and register
  • How to access all platforms

 


Need Additional Access or Permissions?

By default, staff access may be limited depending on your school’s settings.

If you require additional permissions — such as:

  • Posting News or Notifications without approval
  • Access to Payments
  • Access to Attendance features
  • Or permissions for any other area of the system

A member of Senior Management must email staffsupport@uniqueschools.ie to request additional access on your behalf.

 

 


Initial Step: Ensure You Are Added to the System (Admin)

Before registering, a school administrator must add you to the system.

Administrator Instructions:

  • Go to uniqueschoolapp.ie
  • Navigate to Administration
  • Select Add/Edit Students & Staff
  • Click Add
  • Select Staff
  • Ensure all details are entered correctly
    • If your school app displays the “Login with Microsoft” option, enter email address. 
  • Click Submit

Once the Admin has you added, follow the registration & access steps below.

 

 


How Staff Register

Unique Schools provides access across three platforms:

  • Main School App
  • Administrators App
  • Desktop Dashboard

Important:
Registration must be completed through the Main School App first.

 

 


Note

If your school app displays the “Login with Microsoft” option, please scroll to the bottom of this guide and follow the “Login with Microsoft” registration steps instead of the standard registration process.

Step 1: Download the Main School App

  • Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
  • Search for your school’s name
  • Download and install the app

Step 2: Register Your Account

  • Open the app
  • Tap Register
  • Select your relation to the school:
    • Teacher/Staff
    • Teacher/Staff & Parent/Guardian (if applicable)
  • Enter:
    • The mobile number that the admin added initially
    • Your school email address
    • Create a password
  • Tap Submit
  • You will receive a verification code via SMS and email.
  • Enter the code to complete registration.

Step 3: Log In Across All Platforms

Once registered, you can log in to:

Main School App

  • For basic access and school updates.

Administrators App

Desktop Dashboard

  • For full access to checking Attendance Notes, Sending Communications, Creating Forms, Payments and so much more.
  • Note: this is also accessible from a mobile device browser.
 

 


Login with Microsoft

Are you a Parent & Staff Member?

Please follow the non-Microsoft steps above.

Please email staffsupport@uniqueschools.ie if you are having any difficulties with registration.

 

Step 1: Download the Main School App

  • Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
  • Search for your school’s name
  • Download and install the app

Step 2: Login with Microsoft

  • Open the app
  • Tap Login with Microsoft
  • You will be prompted to login to your school Microsoft account
    • follow the steps
  • Tap Submit

Step 3: Log In Across All Platforms

Once registered, you can log in to:

Main School App

  • For basic access and school updates.

Administrators App

Desktop Dashboard

  • For full access to checking Attendance Notes, Sending Communications, Creating Forms, Payments and so much more.
  • Note: this is also accessible from a mobile device browser.
